We built the TreePittsburgh.org site from scratch, starting with an analysis of the organization's mission, future plans and suggestions from its volunteers.
We provided IA maps, wireframes, strategy for design and content. Then we sketched it out, tested it, coded and uploaded it.
The old site was built on Drupal 5 and looked something like this:
We stuck with Drupal to help the communcations staff, all of 3 people, easily transition to a new approach to writing, posting and managing content.
